The Rise of the Femme
Everything feels in place although it remains chaos. I am learning from the teachers in the sky the lessons to ride the wave. Every star, an embodiment to ponder and an integration to save. Safe from forgetting.
At this time last fall I was being introduced to Ascelpios and the magic of the in-betweens. In a dream space, perhaps, or a compartmentalized sensory experience, playing memories from pockets of my brain.
I am being taught the healing in the dream space. The texture in the dream space, and the awareness of its contents in the waking state. I listen while I work. I smoke offerings of the earth and think about how we can change, how we can honor the feminine in our lifetime, or risk self-destructing as a species before we ever try.
Last Halloween, I was painting Sideshow Galleries window, their logo with a mystical eye. I had earlier heard the news that a young girl was shot. She was in a bee costume. She was around 7 years of age and was shot in the neck or chest. I began painting with this on my mind, solemnly. Upon getting close to finishing the painting later in the day, I peered in closer to get the center details of the eye on the glass, and it came. An overwhelming sense of information, of download, of knowing.
It told me that the little girl was going to be okay. She would survive and that this was a message. She represented a larger energy that was present, that through something tragic, as such as this little girl being shot, that the world would experience something of the sort and that it was coming in 2020. That through this years experience and through the process of its healing, the bee’s divinity as goddess would be integrated fully into the collective, resulting in a stronger sense of a “hive mind”. Of unity, of equality, balance and justice. While a small part of me felt naive, it was an overwhelming sense that this knowledge would help carry me through, as well as help others. Two weeks later, it was reported that the little girl fought for her life and that she would make a full recovery.
“That through this coming years experience and through the process of its healing, the bee’s divinity as goddess would be integrated fully into the collective, resulting in a stronger sense of a “hive mind”.
I am not going to lie, I am still new to this. I have a fascination with science and astrology as well as mysticism. I am an artist and as an act of joy, like to lean in to the world of metaphor and poetry. It is through learning various modes of divination, healing, and embodiment that I feel empowered to explore new schools of thought and new possibility. I have lived most of my life having not be taken seriously in my intellectual pursuits because of the nature of their subjects and the un-willingness for others to feel in to them. Some emotional, somatic and sensory experiences are very much like a room. You have to open the door and you have to enter, or perhaps, exit one for another.
This year brings us to the dilemma of logic. What do we do when logic itself is the oppressor? Or gets written in to law with an over valuing of its word. We have lost sight that we can be very subjective in our use of logic, and that we can use logic as a tool to justify, just about anything. When does logic no longer become a tool? The mind trap of logic is that life is not something to be solved or debated, but a door to open, a portal to transition, a container to emerge from. When we set aside our “logic” and enter something bigger, we are no longer separate, but allow ourselves to enter a deep, intellectual space that is fertile, that follows and allows a more natural law to unfold. We are no longer “man-made”, but a living, breathing eco-system.
I am uncertain why these messages come, if not for an inkling of hope. A story to tell. I started living life like it is a never-ending tarot reading. Messages in the happenstance, in how the environment emerges around me. This, is entering the liminal. The space beyond logic or form, the space of creation, following the tune to harmonize and align.
When we set aside our “logic” and enter something bigger, we are no longer separate, but allow ourselves to enter a deep, intellectual space that is fertile, that follows and allows a more natural law to unfold.
Leading up to the next New Moon in Libra on October 16th, this feels like an extraordinary time to work with the Bee energy, the goddess, creation and the femme. The planet Venus, ruling the Divine Femme, rules the sign of Libra. Venus also rules the sign of Taurus, which is the sign the October 31st Samhain, Blue Full Moon will fall in. At this time and through the first week of November, Venus moves into the 10th house of the United States, where they will stay until November 20th. This, is the planting, the birthing, and the rise of the feminine operating principles. It is our duty to work with, and sustain.
Mercury will also be our ally this month, and leading up to the election. Currently in Scorpio, the ruling sign of investigation and secret, the underworld and the hidden, I believe this will be working behind the scenes to uncover big truths. What this also means is that those who wish to continue the imbalance in power and domination will be working overtime to get away with shady business behind closed doors. We need all hands on deck! Mercury will retrograde through the sign of Scorpio, back into the sign of Libra where it will work to re-balance the scales. Truth is coming.
Was the message that came through to me last year on Halloween signaling to this time? I am beginning to think so. The first Full Moon of October, in the sign of Aries, while the second Full Moon of October, the Blue Moon, in the sign of Taurus. The seed, and the emergence. Energetically, this month feels likened to a sort of pregnancy, a transition through a birth canal, a crowning of the corona. The word “corona” translates to “Crown”. At the Libra New Moon mid-month, we have an opportunity to choose our ruler.
.We have to allow it to move through us, move with us and become us. As we head in to the fall season, I know many are frightened and many are uncertain. It is in these moments most that we trust and connect to our spirits, our ancestors, and allow them to be strengthened. That we resist tempting energies to be distracted or thrown into despair. As we approach The New Moon, something we can ask ourselves is, what do I need to do, in order to trust in my own divinity, my own connection to life force? If we can allow ourselves to detach from our devices, our minds, or our logic, we can work with the law and order of the natural world and our connection to it. Welcome this energy, open to it, and trust what seeds are being planted for us. When we detach from the outcome and trust in the process, we remove ourselves from letting our fear interfere with the transition. Accept that it may not show up exactly how we imagine, but trust that how it does show up will be better for us all.
