Polarities and the healing of individual potential
We are experiencing some big collective shifts in Aquarius all of 2021, this energy challenges the Leo archetype in us all. Leo is a constellation that the ancients believed was ruled by the Sun. It is our vitality, our energy and the photosynthetic process of life-giving abundance. Vibrations are sent out like traffic signals, converting light to energy. This does not happen without the information highways of communication that we discover in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius. Gemini governing the orchestration of the music, and Sagittarius with a birds eye view of the emergence. The nodal axis is currently shifting through these signs, since the spring of 2020.
We are now at the midpoint of these constellations and the magnetized polarity that is the nodal axis.
The North and South Nodes govern the ultimate say in where we are in our evolution. Their geometry and make-up is reflective of a black hole and the guiding principle of our current place in orbit. While the South Node can inform us where we are shifting away from, the North Node acts like a north star.
The South node can feel a lot like Saturn, and through the eyes of Saturn, it reminds us to think bigger and to become accountable. To integrate a perception that honors the whole, that is intersectional and holds space for the complexity that is inherit in order for all living systems to thrive. A knowing that in order to survive we must accept that we are not supreme, that we are one part of a whole and to evolve and balance we must, synthesize. We must become more like nature, a living, breathing organism. As humans it is in our very nature to change the ways we organize as a whole people in order to evolve with our environment.
Leo has a lot to teach us and wherever we find Leo in our charts is where we will see our archetypal story manifest, or the narrative we are currently creating. The Leo/Aquarius axis has a lot to teach us about leading and following, the individual versus the crowd. These two are a polarity and the challenge is in finding a balanced growth between them. But you see, to achieve this balanced growth, we must first gain access to truth. Sagittarius is the origin of the universe and all the beliefs we hold. If we believe that we are separate or alone, our actions will always reflect that, in all of our actions. If we believe that we are one, with every vibrational current on this planet whether in human form, or in any of natures creations, our actions will reflect that. Overcoming the attachment to the sometimes rational, hyper-individual, linear modality of the logic mind of Gemini is an act of resistance when even our concepts of time are determined by oppressors.
Where is the sign of Leo in your chart? What house does it occupy? What house does the Sun fall in for you? These will give clues to how these energies and archetypes are being channeled and experienced, through you. We all have access to them, because we are all a part of the whole. It is through this knowing, and through the empowerment of our relationships as individual parts that we strengthen as a collective. Balancing this axis is a coming to awareness that our experience of these energies has been through the filter of the ruling establishment. One practices its self-autonomous Leo nature in the way it has learned how. One participates in the groups Aquarian activity in the only way it knows how. For many of us this has been in many thousands of years of conditioning of white supremacy and we are in a constant relationship to un-learning and re-imagining how we may escape from the old and create a world that works for us all.
Leo shows us where we want to be seen, where we want to shine, and where in our chart has access to the life-sustaining energy of our Sun. The Sun was made to sustain itself, like a floating hearth in the sky. Energetically it sustains every part of us and our planet. As we grow to have a relationship with this energy that transcends the logic brain, we move into the bio-diverse brain in our gut and solar plexus. Responsible for turning your food into fuel and the vibration of plants and water to the rest of your body. The Sun allows us to spring from ourselves a personality. A vehicle that actualizes a sense of self into the world. A miracle walking flesh with galaxies behind our eyes and all around. The house that Leo falls in is where you come to life and where you may need sunshine. Anything that falls in the sign of Leo will have an impact on the flavor of this expression in the chart, as well as any aspects they might make to other planets or placements.
The Sun shines most in the house that it falls in for you. It receives energy best in the house that is ruled by Leo in your chart. Aspects to the Natal Sun can show us a lot about the Natal seed of the individual and where it needs sunshine and where it grows to shine in it’s unique make-up. Leo symbolizes the flowering of our individual potential and when in balance, it is in service to the collective, not operating separate from. Leo was never meant to be on a pedestal, but in noble leadership of the heart, joy and abundance of the Sun.

This is our personal access to the liminal. This archetype helps us to embody a relationship through the non-mind to feel our way. To intuit with our bodies and connection to spirit. The Star is our healing nature of Aquarius, the collective and the hive. It is through our growing connection to spirit and through this liminal way-finding, we can access the healing elixirs of Aquarius’ genius. The Ten of Pentacles shows us the power of Aquarius to create new systems of support. This card can be Saturnian as it rules material form in nature. Saturn is the ancient ruling planet of Aquarius. This is hard work and responsibility that it will take to create the kind of world we that want and need. The World card, the whole, the integration of all the parts, unity and completion. We can utilize this process to help to heal the world. To create a more harmonious relationship to ourselves, one another and all living systems.
The Sun, Strength, Six of Wands and The Fool. Strength and the Sun show us the nature of Leo. The Sun, showering us with its golden nectar as it' strengthens all earths beings. Empowering us to shine for all to see in our unique gifts. There is an exposing, a bringing into the light. In Strength we are soft, vulnerable and present. Living in the present moment in co-creation with nature and spirit, taking the risk to be seen as we step into the Fool’s energy. The Fool knows that we can always make the choice to begin again, to let go of the baggage of our past and trust in the journey spirit is taking us on. We can move confidently. We can step into the light and allow ourselves to receive the abundance of the Sun.
