Entering the Womb Lodge

The last full moon of the Gregorian year is upon us, and hopefully the last year we refer to this calendar as the end of our year. This Full Moon is hitting different. With this Cancer moon, it feels like another beginning before an ending. The midpoint between these two falls within degrees of our very first New Moon of the Astrological New year in Aries, back in March. We will experience the last moon of the astrological year in March of 2021. With this moon’s midpoint reigniting the Aries new moon, there is a fire brewing at our core. A call to tend to our inner flame, our communal fire, and a sacred trust in the safety of knowing and returning to this source. There is honesty in this moon, of allowing what you need to feel not only rooted, but held and protected. That we are all in a space that is fertile and supportive enough for us to emerge from. Belonging and becoming.

As we enter the Winter season, we will need to fan the flames to sustain us, to nurture where we can extend on the path in a way that makes room for healing and a non-linear pathway. Cancer is intuitive and tender, but an opportunity to learn to ride the high tides with courage and strength. Collectively, this is a time to strengthen our roots. There is strength in allowing rest, allowing connection or trust to develop. For holding space for others before getting on to an agenda that seeks only to gain more or DO more. There is power in stillness.

Honesty, Community, Healing. Allowing ourselves to be held in a new way. We are returning to source, remembering the womb space and that at any time we may enter. Witnessing the truth of where we are nested, opening up to receiving support and love from self, other, community and spirit. Of ancestry. We have this moon to cleanse and wipe clean. To mourn and connect. To vow to show up for your communities and keep the flames sustained. Trust that you are being held by spirit and that there is no shame.
